Lost--Season 3

So watched the opener and have a big theory, based on some comments made by the writers/producers and last night seemed to hint at it.

Thought that the new cast member was very good in her job. Hate that we had such few regulars, but was a really good Jack episode.

They have been saying that Kate chooses between Jack and Sawyer by like episode 6 I think. Everybody is thinking as a love interest but what if thats not what they mean. Kate is going to have a miserable 2 weeks. When they put Kate in the cage next to Sawyer, she mentioned they made her wear the dress but nothing about the 2 weeks or such. They are going to make Kate choose between Jack and Sawyer, who lives. It would definitely set up a huge mind blowing twist. It would fit in her having a terrible 2 weeks. It would tie into her looking upset and kind of vague about it to Sawyer and since they know her past, they know she chosen who lives.

I'm not nuts about the 6 episodes than the break but honestly, its probably better then reruns scattered all over with no rhyme or reason like last year.

Didn't know about the 6 episodes and then the break- that does suck. What are we going to do all winter?

That makes absolutely no [censored] sense. If they're going to pull that [censored], why not just do as Fox does with 24 and wait until the first of January to premiere the next season?

Don't they realize that they are running casual fans away? The fans who watch the show just because it is a decent TV work, the fans who don't get tangled into all the twists and turns. The fans who can't remember what happened to them two minutes ago, much less on a TV show 4 months earlier.

The state of television scheduling drives me bonkers.

Missed last week's episode due to a brain fart and farm work, was going to watch it on ABC.com, but their 'limited commercial interruptions' were so stupid that I just went ahead and spent the $2 to get it on iTunes.

As for the show, Abrams & Co. keep digging themselves a deeper hole. They did seem to start the climb out in last week's show, but by no more than an inch or two.

Very revealing episode tonight. The preview for the next two weeks was quite interesting as well. Just a shame we're going to have to wait 3 months for more new episodes.
